With the popularity of vehicles, people are paying more and more attention to the air quality in the car. GB/T 27630-2011 Guideline for Air Quality Assessment of Passenger Car was issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine to put forward the requirement on the concentrations of benzene, toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, styrene, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and acrolein in the air inside the car. The major domestic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) have also developed the corresponding enterprise standards to regulate the concentration of hazardous substances in the air within the vehicles they manufacture. On the other hand, for the purpose of meeting the requirements of developing the circular economy, protecting the environment and human health, and building a resource-saving and environment-friendly society, many countries and regions in the world have issued the corresponding regulations and standards on the prohibited and restricted substances in automotive materials.
