Water-proof test is to check the operation of electrical and electronic products and materials under flushing conditions. The external moisture may enter into the products during transportation, storage and use, thereby causing damage to the products. With higher and higher demand on the electronic products, there is a growing concern about the water-proof performance of the electronic products. There are 9 grades for the water-proof performance, which were adopted from the IEC IP×× ratings standard. In the IP code, the second numeral X refers to the degree of protection against liquids and is rated on a scale from 0 to 9. IPX0 refers to no protection. Different water-proof grades are expressed in different IP codes. Please refer to below table for details:
