North American certification (voluntary) is mainly based on the requirement of laws and regulations, for instance, the U.S. NRTL certification system is based on the requirements of 29 Code of Federal Regulations and administrated by the United States Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); the FCC certification system is based on the requirements of 49 Code of Federal Regulations and administrated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Electrical and electronic appliances covered in CFR29 can be recognized as in compliance with requirements of the North America regulations if only these appliances obtained any of the numerous NRTLs’ certificate such as UL、CSA、ENTELA etc.
As the laboratory accredited by UL, CSA and ENTELA, CVC can provide clients with the North American certification services such as UL, CSA, ENTELA etc. for products listed in 【Table1】. It depends on the clients’ requirements to choose the service of one NRTL.
AS FCC recognized testing laboratory, CVC can help our clients to obtain D.O.C and ID approval from FCC based on our testing (EMC) for IT, AV products, microwave ovens and other remote-controlled products.
