CB Testing Reports and CB Certificate
—— A master key for products to enter into the international market
CVC is one of the biggest CBTLs in China, with CB testing scope covering both electric appliances and components/accessories.
IECEE-CB scheme, operated by IEC's Conformity Assessment Board, is the most successful IEC Mutual Recognition system of electrical and electronics products for Conformity Assessment, which has already 50 member states (Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Greece, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Turkey, Ukraine, the United States, Serbia, Switzerland, Malaysia, Sweden, Thailand), and more than 60 NCBs have participated in the scheme, aiming at offering the conformity assessment of “one test, multi-certificates” and removing the technical barriers for trade. The CB Testing Reports and Certificates are accepted among the members as the basis of national approval.
Benefits of obtaining CB testing reports and certificates:
- Transfer to overseas approvals such as VDE, GS, GOST-R, SASO and Australia RCM.
- Transfer to China Compulsory Product Certification or to voluntary certification.
- Directly accepted by many countries, like countries in Southeast Asia.
